My design practice can be summarised into an exploration of form and function. I try to produce work that is informed by previous experiences but very different in appearance, function or style.
Ceramics are one of my favourite materials as there are countless methods and process which can be used to work with this medium. Within my work I try to show how diverse and adaptable ceramic design is.
Another tool which I find incredibly useful is CAD modelling and 3D printing. This is a recent addition to my practice but I am slowly seeing how many possibilities 3D technology can offer.
Combining traditional methods of making and 3D technology has become my recipe for developing my crative ideas into exciting physical outcomes.
